We are seeking an experienced Floor Manager to lead our sales team and drive the growth of our Sales department. As a Floor Manager, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong client relationships while identifying new business opportunities to expand our market presence.
Objectives and role
- Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals,
- Hire, train, motivate, and advise a team of sales representatives
- analyzing performance data, and making forecasts
- Develop skills continuously for hiring, training, and leading team members, and ensure that they're using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives
- Generate leads, and establish and nurture client relationships
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the packaging industry, building strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with different departments such as Estimation, Design, Marketing and Production for seamless operations and to optimize client’s experience. to create tailored packaging solutions for clients' unique needs.
- Analyze sales data and metrics to assess performance and prepare regular reports for management.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Client relationship management and retention
- Ensure excellent customer service throughout the sales process, addressing customer concerns promptly.
- Sales compliance and ethics
Responsibilities
- Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and extends the company's global reach
- Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships that address their needs
- Recruit sales representatives, set objectives, train and coach them, and monitor their performance
- Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them
- Ensure that company quotas are met by holding daily check-ins with sales team to set objectives and monitor progress
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes
Required skills and qualifications
- Three or more years of experience in managing sales in a corporate setting
- Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Superb leadership ability
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent
